Nazarene Home
April 2008 Director's Report This month has been a flurry of events, from faith promise events to Each One Win One conferences to administrative tasks. God is working on every side to build His church.

Faith promise events are key ways for the local church to fulfill the Great Commission and spread the Gospel around the world. For the Church of the Nazarene, “around the world” literally means the 151 world areas we have officially entered as a denomination. And our presence is expanding.

Recently the regional directors—the six leaders who oversee the church in each of our six world regions—
reported that the church is working or actively starting the work in 17 additional countries. In the last 14 years we have entered into 49 world areas. This is our mandate. This is the outreach of every local church. God is using all of you to build the kingdom of God.

Resources are always in demand to equip the church for expanding the church. The book Each One Win One is one of those resources. Its sequel is just off the press – Each One Disciple One. Stan Toler and I collaborated on both books, which we hope will meet the continued need for equipping our local churches and individuals seeking to obey Christ’s call to make disciples.

Additionally, we have held Each One Win One Conferences in Pasadena, California, New York (where people attended from as far as Ohio and Michigan), and Africa. One pastor wrote that he is implementing the plan in his church with an evangelistic campaign and is expecting great results. Many pastors and leaders are enthusiastic about equipping themselves to evangelize, and about getting lay people involved in building the Kingdom.

If you are interested, visit NPH.com to order Each One Disciple One; it is item No. 083-412-3614 and is $29.99.

Let’s move forward together in answering Christ’s call to make disciples in all nations!
